A Conversation for 'Field of Dreams' - the Film

OK, well a very good friend of mine is from the Quad cities (where illinois and iowa join, close to the field). She visited the field and was a little confused.
I guess, two families own the land.
The infield and R/center field are on one part.
Left field and most of center are on the other.
She said they have loads of wierd rules about, who can do what where.
I'll ask her the details this week and get back to y'all.

The other family are actualy mentioned on the DVD for the film, but I couldn't work out how to spell their name
