The number of letters in each word gives the digits in Pi.

I like that - I had to memorise pi and it took me ages to do so. 15 years too late, but thank you nonetheless

I am afraid that I cheated. I wrote myself a little computer program that knew it to the 200 digits that are what you need for the most acurate calculations in this universe.

every so often I go back and tell it what I think pi is, and it shows me how much I got right, and what the next few digits are.

you do that every so often, and you can remember quite a bit of pi.

I don't currently need it vary acurate, so I only remember it as being 3.1415926 but with a good guess for the next few digits.

Pi isn't the only number this program lets me learn. It is set up to remember e,c, and a number of others as well.

I know this method is sort of cheating, but it does have the advantage tht it works.
