Spelling nessecary was terribly difficult for me, until I was told (in my 20s!) that it's one coat, and two shoes. One c and two ss.
The I before E memory aid is longer than most people think.
Use i before e except after c or when sounded like a as in neighbour or weigh. and except seize and seizure and also leisure, weird, height, and either, forfeit, and neither.
