Remembering Faces
PQ Started conversation Aug 14, 2002
I can't, it takes at least two/three meetings for me to recognise someone again...and even then I will usually not remember their name.
The problem is I don't think of people as faces, I have to get their face, their name, their build, their style of dress and a little potted history of how I know them built up in my head...this is then all tied into their voice..the one characteristic which I'm good at recognising.
I find it easier to remember peoples names if I've seen them written down before I meet them but even then I can blank people unknowingly just because they aren't wearing their normal clothes.
