I am a big Stargate fan and I love your article on it.

There is one question, I have always wanted to know why does Daniel Jackson sometimes where spectacles and other times he doesnot have them and what has happed to his sneezing?

thanks - compliments are always welcome, especially about Stargate.

Daniel usually wears glasses, I can only remember a very few times where he doesn't (and Mr. Prophet will be along shortly to add to the list I suspect):

-in (Season 1?) Need - where he has been in a sarcophagus a lot and his eyesight has improved

- in (Season 4) Absolute Power for no reason I can think of

- in (Season 5) Summit - but then we see him putting in contact lenses

The sneezing only seems to crop up when the writers need it! (like Season 1 The Broca Divide) which is annoying

Thank you for the info. I was going to ask you another question but I forgot due to the Goau'ld.

Mr Prophet (General Purpose Genre Guru)

Generally he doesn't sneeze because he's completely loaded full of more antihystemines than the mind can comfortably conceive. Judging by the Broca Divide, he and Dr Fraiser must account for almost half the total US supply of hypoallergenic products.

He also doesn't wear glasses as an ascended 'Other' in Abyss.

Daniel Jackson and Dr. Frazier could start a self group sneezers annoymous.

I see Tilk always looks puzzled or embarressed, once he was watching the television and he thought people on this planet were mad and destructive as well as being difficult to understand. Apart from the Thor group, (I know it begins with A but I cannot remember it) and the Tokr'a are there are more alies?

Thor's people are the Asgard (although Aesir would be more accurate; Asgard was where the Norse Gods lived).

Aside from the Tok'ra, Asgard and rebel Jaffa, there were the Tollan - dead now - and a bunch of people who've signed treaties so the SGC can mine their naquada, but that's about it, I think.

Sho?

my money is on the Tollan (or one or two of them at least) turning up in Season 7.

Um... the Nox seem to cast a friendly eye on the SGC people

But apart from that...can't really think of anyone.

Pretty pathetic really!
