I grew up in Denver and distinctly remember Frisco as being the "icebox" of the nation since it is the coldest spot in the mountains. (It is at the base of a 13,000 ft pass and surrounded on 3 sides by VERY high mountains.) Why , if anyone knows, is it no longer even mentioned?
