Are you sure you're not making the mistake that many English people do of using the words "Britain" and "England" interchangeably?

Good point I hope this is an answer you agree with.
Britian as in the term Roman Britian in refering to the area south of Hadrians wall used in this context is correct.
Great Britian is another thing entirely and did not come into existantance untill the act of union.
I beleive that the use of Britian in this entry is correct.
