I've always found that one thing that really helps is horseback riding - the motion and sitting up straight help relax all the right muscles, as do the surroundings if you head outside - just don't plan to learn anything difficult! smiley - pony Also, the closeness to your horsy friend is comforting when you get that smiley - blue feeling. And it's an incentive to pull yourself together and be fair to your horse! If that bloaty feeling is a problem, try those half-leg chaps and short jodhpur or similar boots with jeans instead of those tight riding trousers. And don't forget the smiley - choc!

My smiley - cat was also always very helpful, providing a living hot-water bottle and kneading a bit sometimes, she seemed to notice when it was necessary!
