A Conversation for Salad Recipes
My favourite salad

I usually prefer my salad lettuce-free but with slices of fresh tomatoes (you can use little cherry tomatoes for variation) as the main ingredient. Then I add peppers - I don't care for the taste of green pepper so I use red and orange/yellow peppers because they have a sweeter taste -, goat feta (I've been told that you should never use cow feta), marinated garlic cloves, black olives, slices of cucumber or courgette, celery, and maybe a few bread croutons. For me, the trick is to have a lot of different ingredients in small amounts so that no single ingredient becomes too dominant. You can also make the salad look more inviting if it is very colourful (green cucumber, red tomato, yellow pepper, etc.). Yum.
