There is only one thing worse than being Gosho, and that is not being Gosho

Was the episode where they had to find out if there was anyone in a hotel room they wanted to get into and check out, so Bruce Willis got a small carton of cream, and he kind of wedged the top of it under the door, and STAMPED on it so that a big fan of cream splattered all over the carpet inside...

Well, that would get me to my hotel door if it happened smiley - laugh

I never understood why he did that!

Please explain!

Ooh, you're in America, right?

Tell me, what's "Salt water taffy" and what everyone shouted at the end of the Shakespearian send-up "we hate ...." I couldn't even work out what they shouted, never mind what they meant!
smiley - flustered

Oh, and the Reunion Campaign that I belong to....they interviewed Curtis Armstrong a couple of days ago. smiley - bigeyes

Hello AGB smiley - biggrinsmiley - smooch

Well, they needed to find out if there was anyone in the room before trying to get in, so rather than do the old ::KNOCK KNOCK:: "Room service..." routine, Bruce got the carton of cream, put it under the door and stamped on it, then they ran round a corner and hid. Anyone in the room at the time would have seen a big squish of white stuff suddenly spread itself all over the floor. That would have gotten my interest smiley - tongueout

Salt water taffy http://www.fralingers.com/history.htm

Now, I always thought that taffy was the American word for nougat, but having been a sugar boiler myself for 5 years, and having spent some of that time making nougat, it sounds more like the way I used to make rock, although I never did it over a pulling hook - they've had machines for doing that for at least 70 years.

Which Shakespearian send-up? Who's Curtis Armstrong? smiley - erm

Don't you remember the "Kiss Me Kate" episode? {'My Fair David'} When Dave wore a huge curly wig, and he tried to woo and married "Kate" {Maddie}
