If your curious to what it might have sounded like if he had forwarded this career, Richard Cheese has recorded piano bar version of Closer. Very very disturbing, but essential for every NIN fan. You should be able to download it off any fileshare program if you want.

ohhhh my...
hmm, the scales are beginning to tip in favor of getting one of those fileshare programs. though i've feared for some time that it's one step above me on the ladder of technological evolution... i'll be the last kid on my block to get one. but it seems like i'm missing out on far too many disturbing things.
