A Conversation for Grockles

Colorado

Post 1

Steve K.

The term "grockle" seems more polite than the words Coloradans use for Texans. Colorado, with maybe 4 million people, has ALL the ski resorts, while neighboring (almost) Texas with maybe 20 million people, has NO ski areas. So, as you might guess, the cars in the Colorado ski areas during the ski season mostly have Texas license plates. And, since some (not all) Texans define the term "Ugly American" ... (any Texans reading this - hold your fire, I've lived in Texas for decades ... and skied in Colorado many times)
