A while ago I bought some outdoor "Buffalo" clothing and noticed that the fabric was marked as "DP".
It turns out that this stands for "Double-P", or "PP".
This, in turn, stands for "Pertex and Pile"!
Perhaps the AA change its name to the "Double-A" and then to "DA"?
