A Conversation for Public Transport Etiquette

Auckland is best known for its transport problems to the rest of the country, which calls us "JAFA"s ('Just Another "Friendly" Aucklander'). In spite of a reputation for unfriendliness, our overworked public transport drivers almost never fail to wish commuters a good day, give them the correct change, thank them when they get off (which is always reciprocated) and politely inform others that they cannot get on the bus as it is full. It is still not a good experience because of the waiting time, but is not a fault of the friendly Kiwi staff.
