Carob and chocklate immitsations made of carob make excelent snacks and are fare better then eating chocklate.
My favorite is Carob chocklat with Soy beans. It's a chocklate bar without chocklate, and it's great.

I like carob when I'm not trying to pretend it's chocolate. 
It's too different to imitate chocolate well, but if you just think of it as carob, it's nice. Carob ice cream is yummy.

Dounds nice, but we don't have that here...
If I get a chocklate bar and a carob bar, I'll recognise which is which.
If I get a bar that I don't know whether it's one or the other, I might be able to tell.
I i'm getting a carob bar unsuspectingly, I'll probably mistake it for the real thing.
