h2g2 The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy: Earth Edition

I, a woman, have been asked to be the "Best Person" at my good friend's wedding next month. It is his second wedding, his bride's first. Any and all help in creating a speech will be most appreciated as this is definately foriegn territory for ME!

I too have been asked to be best person at a close friends wedding and feel as a woman, complimenting the bridesmaids is not going to be easy.

I got married in May this year, my best man was my best mate Tina. We wore matching waistcoats, I wore a cravat and a wing collar white shirt, she wore an open necked white blouse, I wore a Nehru collared rental jacket, she wore a tailored Nehru collared jacket from Monsoon (classic but feminine), we both wore black trousers and shoes...I looked smart and formal, she looked smart and feminine...everyone's a winner!
