Amazon carries a couple of books on best man speeches, which a friend of mine bought for a speech he had to give at a wedding earlier this year. He said they were quite helpful.
But he said that the thing that saved his life (and he gave a belting speech) was a web site he found with literally thousands of jokes and stories drawn from real best man speeches. If I can remember, it's called something like thebestmanspeech.com. Could be worth checking out?
