A Conversation for Traffic
Stop Caos at rush hour
Manney Started conversation Jul 16, 1999
Here's a couple of things that I came up with whilst sat around with nowhere to go in a hurry on the M66, M62 & M60 every bloody morning.
First of all I'd just like to point out that I am not against trucks, truckers or any thing to do with the trucking industry.
Between the hours of 7:00-10:00 and 16:00 - 19:00 they should get them off motorways and roads into designated truck parks, and allow the peak traffic to get out of the way. After 9PM-6AM trucks have right of way on all motorways (should be able to use all three lanes of the motorways)
I also think that a whole new industry could be started if the people who are supposed to be sorting out the railways get their fingers out there arses, and get fright onto rail or what about rollon rolloff railcarts where HGVs could hitch lifts with trains moving from one side of the country to the other
Love to here what you all think
