Last week = sept. 2006, I received three Coral DVD's and I watched them all.
"Beneath Southern Seas" is a very relaxed "encyclopedia" of all the fish at the West Australian coast. Easy listening music and fish after fish
(real life) is shown and described. For people like me; perfect.
"The Great Barrier Reef" is a more dynamic DVD and has chapters like;
"Aboriginals and the sea" , Choral Reefs, Fishes, Coral Islands, etc.
all at the coast of West Australia.
"The critters Trilogy" is fabulous, but - for me - sometimes frightening, because nature can be beautiful but is without grace because of survival of the fittest. Especially in the night.....
It is a collection of three awarded movies of 20 mn. each.and they are all made close to a big Indonesian island.
1) Critters = fábulous animals in a sea desert; yes sea desert, where
it is very important not be to seen and therefore stay = "WALK" on the bottom.......
2) Night Critters; at the same location, but now at night.
I do not dare to see that.
3) Coral Critters. Also made in the same area, but not the "desert" part of that area.
Beautiful; great to watch.
And before, I made some fantasy paintings inspired by the coral reef world.
Some are in the H2G2 album for amateur artists ;
