England v Holland, Euro 96

It could be a trick of memory, but I'm pretty sure it was Brian Moore commentating on it for ITV. And it might not even have been against England, but anyway. Holland definitely had a defender called Johan de Kock in their squad for that tournament.
And about an hour into the game, the Dutch sent a few big guys into attack at a corner kick, thus allowing Mooro to declaim "...and de Kock's up for this one!"

Not a million miles away from the young Dutch lad who played at Newcastle for a while: Brian Pinas, his name was.
Never got a game for the first team, but played for the 2nds against Scunthorpe, which gave Brian Laws the chance to trot out the line when interviewed later:
"I thought Nathan played well on his return from injury. He kept the Dutch lad quiet for 60 minutes and he pretty much had Pinas in his pocket at the end."

"The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy is a wholly remarkable book. It has been compiled and recompiled many times and under many different editorships. It contains contributions from countless numbers of travellers and researchers."
