Those women being bundled into police cars in Tehran by religious police looked pretty bloody oppressed to me.

Regardless of how commentators interpret Islam from the comfort and safety of a few thousand miles away, the reality for women living under Islamic governance is fear, mysogyny and oppression.

An I would be the first one to stand beside you with that statement. I would not say its a hatred of women, more no respect for women.
