A Conversation for Left Handedness

I'm one of the few people unable to understand handedness am I'm totally ambidextrous. Are there any fellow ambidextrous people around? If possible, I'd like to write a guide entry on it!

Not naturally, I'm afraid...(though unnaturally)
A guide entry would be cool. I was trying to make this one be about all Handedness, but the title got changed during sub-editing. I wrote one on right-handedness just to be fair, but couldn't be bothered to get it edited.
So...going off topic you say you're flying solo. Unfortunately I can't until I'm 15. I only fly gliders, although I did one flight in a Cessna 150 when I was 11. What sort of stuff are you flying?

I've always thought I might be a bit wierd.
As far as I can remember, i've always writen with my left hand but I sometimes felt it feels unnatural and my hand always hurts after writing for a while.
I do everything else right handed including playing the trumpet & drums, using scissors, knives etc. I even paint with my right hand. Whats going on there then?!!!

I love flying Cessnas, and flying solo is just the best feeling ever!
Going back on topic, I'm really weird in that I do EVERYTHING with both hands. Whenever I draw or do mathematical diagrams, I have a pencil in each hand and everyone thinks I'm quite a freak! The only difference between the left and right is that I have completely different but equally neat handwritings... probably the handwriting analysis experts would say I have a split personality or something.
Painting with a different hand... That's bizarre! It's really weird that if you do a search on the net theres hardly anything on ambidexterity... hopefully when I start uni there will be a professor there who knows something about the science behind it.

I am also totally ambidexterous. Was born lefthanded and forced to change but gradually reverted to my natural lefthandedness. As a consequence I can do everything, including write, with both hands, even to the extent of changing hands during an activity such as table tennis! The only thing I find difficult with my right hand is dealing cards of all things.
One of the consequences has been that my writing with either hand is absolutely appalling and the cause of many a complaint. Strangely, it has not slowed my reactions which are still ultra fast although I have no directional sense at all. I consider myself seriously directionally dyslexic and this has been a great impediment whether or not connected to handedness.

Are you saying you are ambidexterous unnaturally? How does one become ambidexterous unnaturally?

You are probably in the catagory of people who are partly right-handed and partly left-handed. Are you right or left foot and eye dominant?

BTW, people here might be interested in the H2G2 Handedness Registry at A1111870.
