A Conversation for Caffeine

Caffeine can help asthma? I'll try to remember that for the next time I forget to take my inhaler out and I have an attack.
I'm not sure that I'd want to give it to my son for his ADHD though.
Well I didn't know that.

It might cause trouble if you have diabetes though. I mean if caffeine causes sugar to be released from the liver you might (if you drink enough regular coffee) have more of a tendency to have a sugar rise followed by a low with the sugar levels fluctuating. And I have to wonder what effect caffeine might have on blood pressure which is high often in those with diabetes. I stick to decaf coffee. It has been found that you need to drink 5 cups of decaf to have the same amount of caffeine found in 1 cup of regular coffee.
