I had the priviledge of working with Fred Savage on the forgetable film of that title in 1986. Not only was he a pleasure to work with, but he was arguably the best part of the finished product. I was lucky enough to be able to bring my daughter to set one day (she was a year older than he) and they got along very well playing in a back yard together between takes.
It was good to see this well written piece about The Wonder Years, once again arguably some of his best work as a young actor.

Wow! For a TWY lover like me that is a claim to fame and a half!! Glad to know that he is a genuine guy off set. I have a signed photo from him and from Dan Lauria, but despite four tries and two IRCs I have struck out on Danica McKellar! Danica is my top target for a signed photo now!! She worked so well with Fred and the two of them together were the best young acting team I have ever seen in anything. Glad you liked the article because I think it is my best ever entry along with the recent Ronnie Barker tribute.
