You think you have problems. I bought my council house, just over a year ago, when I heard that the, now, Housing Group decided to take over from the council and then moderise our estate. As I said this was just over a year ago and the storage cabins are still at the top of my cul-de-sac. So what has this to do with pavement parking, where do you think all the workmen park there cars and where do you think articulated lorries and other delivery vehicles park, that's right, on all of the pavements and opposite each other at that, and they still manage to completey block the paths and roads.
We have complained to the Housing Group, Police and my councilor and what responce do I get:
It's our property so we can do what we want.
We, the police, decide when an offence is commited, we will look into the matter.
And my councilor has yet to reply.
Thank god my neighbour needed an ambulance on a weekend if it had been a week day he would have had to wait while the cars where moved to let it pass. And the abusive language that my daughter in law was subjected to, well that's another story. Think yourself lucky you don't live in Washington, Tyne and Wear.
