A Conversation for Astral Projection
Should I do it?

I have always wondered if 'astral projection' is an acceptable thing to deliberately do! I was told years ago, that when one dreams, one regularly goes out of body - but I've always felt that one should wait for it to happen and not try to deliberately do it. Or, am I wrong?

There's no reason at all why you shouldn't. In the end it's a perfectly normal thing for you to do. If it happens naturaly then there should really be no question on whether or not you should induce it.

Thank you for your encouragement. I remember back in 1995 actually deciding to go look for someone. (I went to the wrong place - ended up in the year 2095.. man,it was weird.)

PS - re going to Queensland in 1995, it was a lucid dream, and all seemed very logical at the time. Only when I woke up, did I think "what the he** did I think I was doing?" Looking back, I am amazed at the sort of thing I do do in dreams, such as telling some women in a New York apartment that they would remember me, because it wasn't just a dream, theirs or mine, but that we three really were together! Next day, I laughed at the naivety of my night-time self.

You went forward in time?
What do you mean by weird?
Can you remember any more about it?
Did you know the women in New York?
If you want to find a specific person, do you have to know their address? {I mean location...} Or do you just think about them? Or do they have to be projecting at the same time?
So many questions, I should get myself a book on the subject.

I had the dream of being dead, I was 11 or 12 at the time, and \I went through chambers, loud, noisy ones that I realised were babies, the chambers grew bigger, more developed consciences, colours less loud, I seemed to pass through skins of an onion, at the centre it was all calm grey, mist I settled in the middle and was absorbed by hundreds of other intelects, though I knew a few of them by name like great scientists, and we were the essence of goodness, a very strange out of body experience.

Our PSVE teacher told us astral projection was "very dangerous and you shouldn't mess about with things we don't understand" yet got us to do meditation every other lesson, some people describing almost going into astral projection, and saying that was good. So she really should have said "I don't understand it so I'll stick with my budhism approved meditation"
Any way, was she right?

I don't think there's a right or wrong in this situation. If you ask for a white light of protection before you attempt anything (I do this when I start up my car...) then I believe you will be safe.
