Remember that some courses which start in January are despatched in November with an assignment due on 31st January.

If you are also registered for a short course then the assignment for that is also due on the 31st Jan - so you've got a lot of extra work.

I was caught out like that this year with S103 due to start in January so I started two short courses to fill the time in.
