A Conversation for How to Make and Enjoy a Very Good Margarita

Your margarita will taste even more heavenly if you use fresh lime juice you've squeezed yourself, as opposed to the bottled stuff. You might want to add just a pinch of confectioner's sugar, though, as it isn't as sweet.
I often use Cointreau in place of the Triple Sec- it has a higher alcohol content, packs a little more punch (yay!), and has less impurities. You're a lot less likely to wake up in the morning feeling like your head is on inside-out.
Sometimes, for a little variety, I throw in a shot of Chambord or Midori, or a splash of Presidente brandy. This is especially good if you prefer your margarita on-the-rocks. It's scrumptious, and quite refreshing on a balmy summer's day!
