I'm on my way to the computer room to get a printout of this article. So much for my law textbook - h2g2 actually gives me a better treatment of the historical background of democracy which is of course the primary reason why legislation overrules the common law.
Useful information for a first year law student. So why does my textbook give such a nasty treatment of the subject??
Actually, what's up with ANU textbooks in general?
