A Conversation for The 'His Dark Materials' Trilogy by Phillip Pullman

Brilliant Books

Post 1

carp deim - seize the day; carp in denim - there's a fish in my trousers!

These 3 books are by far the best I have ever read (I read the first one just after it came out so I had to wait in frustration for a few years for the other two to come outsmiley - grr) I really liked them because of the great ending that it had that so rarely happens in trilogies (one example of a good trilogy is of course The Hitch Hikers Guide To The Galaxy smiley - biggrin) They're thrilling and capture your Imagination and incredibly hard to describe to someone who hasn't read them because of the complicated story.
