If you can get used to the one-way streets. My wife went to school at Pennsylvania School of Art and Design and I would always need to circle back because I missed it the first time and would travel four one-way streets in a big square to get back where I started.
And at least the mayor there isn't a suspect in a murder trial.

Since you're right in the heart of it all, would you be interested in helping out with an entry on the Pennsylvania Dutch? There's one in the Writing Workshop that needs a lot of fleshing out, and you're probably an expert! I've lived on the fringes of Lancaster and Lebanon counties (E-town and Palmyra), but you're practically a Dutch girl.

I'd love to help out on an entry about the Dutch... er, Amish. Or the religious sects related to them (Old Order/New Order, Mennonite, etc). I've been meaning to write one for quite some time but I never got around to it... finally I have some free time to devote. I'm not hardly Amish myself (for goodness sake, my family uses electicity like it's water), but I do know several families that I could go to for research if need be.

I've also been meaning to do an entry on good tourist places to visit away from the Rt 30 strip... it's a nice area but most people never see the half of it. Not that I want them clogging up the back roads... making them worse than they already are.

I think the mayor involved in the murder trial is in York, not Lancaster. I think (I think).

Palmyra's a nice town... wouldn't mind living there myself. And I know I've been to E-town, but not recently. Hmmm.... road trip!

Yes, it was the other city of the roses in which the mayor was arrested for murder or in his own poetic words 'Murder was the charge'.
