Classical Muzak in Australian shops.

It may be interesting to note that in Sydney, Australia, Muzak in its most annoying form to youngsters (that would be classical) is used to ward off teenagers from shopping malls.
What? I hear u say. Yes it is true. Many shopping malls in Sydney that have a problem with excess amounts of "loitering" teenagers hanging around their centre stage area and entrances. "Mall Rats" is maybe the term. The management has taken to playing classical Muzak at a loud enough volume to move them on elsewhere.
This has been well documented in local papers, and has worked a treat in places such as "Bankstown Square" where it was used to disperse the local "Home Boys".
Great article!
