It's Stony Brook

Post 1

I like your entry on PJ. It's pretty darn good. But you wrote Stonybrook and, as an old resident, I just want to point out that it is two words. Stony Brook is one of the Three Villages (besides Setauket and Old Field). It does have a beach, a harbor (yes, American spelling) and a village green with a nice carved wooden ship's figurehead of Hercules. Not to mention the university and museums. Now I've gone and written a mini travelogue.

Isn't the world full of great places.
