Surely it couldn't be a norange.
Such a daft word, i bet nothing would even rhyme with it!

Hi Ayrpeeps and welcome to h2g2 
It is true that nobody ever called it a norange, but this was only because the N disappeared from the word in French before the fruit reached these shores. Who's to say what we'd be calling it if it hadn't?
