the smell of rice cakes

I love rice cakes and find them an indespensible snack when I'm at work, hungry, but it's too busy for me to go on a break (I'm a midwife). The trouble is that everybody who walks into the office says "what's that awful smell?". I can't smell anything. Do they smell? Or are people who like rice cakes immune to the odour?

TBH, I do think ricecakes smell, though they remind me of Rice Krisipies (shockingly) and a very fresh smell. Don't know how anyone can complain.... are you using toppings?!
