Welcome to another edition of Collaborative Efforts, where the teamwork and dedication of our researchers shines forth on the playing field.
It gives me great pleasure to introduce the h2g2
Historical Society, founded
from the forum conversations of
Mustapha's fascinating article on the Merovingian Dynasty. Through the forums, it was discovered that a significant number of researchers had a fondness for cracked pottery, crumbled stone, and mistranslated parchment. Spurred by the interest, Mustapha created a home for the society, and then proceeded to scour the site for articles worthy of a place of honour. It consists of an index of all of H2G2's historically significant documents, and, above all, is a centre of esoteric and controversial discussion.
As with all the articles that appear in this column, this is 'work in progress'. A perpetual work in progress, by the look of things!
This is, in part, because history is a vast subject, and growing larger with each passing day. It is also because certain members of the society have agreed to paint the clubhouse in watercolours, and it has been raining for weeks.
Any researchers who are fascinated by history should stop by sometime, and anyone who has an article that could belong there, should post a link on the society's page as soon as possible.
The society is growing by the day, and posting a link there means that your article will be read and discussed. Just make sure you're prepared for the consequences!
