I found it a momentary hoot to revive a ten-year old one where someone was asking for information on ordering something. Too bad it took ten years for me to give him an answer.

I restarted a very old thread where someone had posted a question and got no answers. About 5 or 6 yrs later I answered and the surprising thing was the original poster was still here and read it - suffice it to say it did rather surprise them!

Yes, I suppose if I had cared to get an answer back from my answer, six years would have been better.

Just though, certain topics needs to mature a bit too...and sometimes intuitive joining in...when the time is ripe...for an replay to be given and understood.

I don't think God exists, therefore, I don't entertain that possibility. What I am certain of are the things I see, feel or otherwise, intellectually, I can fathom.

It's amazing how many non-christians think they know the christian answer to this. god will judge you, by your own life, by the choices you have made. It's not possible to enter heaven without a relationship with god. The question you have asked, comes as a result of god's prompting of your soul, as a direct consequence of god's holy spirit stirring your soul, he's looking for a relationship. your response to god's prompting will determine your fate. If you address yourself directly to him he will answer, but likely in an unusual way. for example, a guy i knew asked god, ' shall i stop working as a barman in a strip joint?' and god said ' stop cheating the customers by serving short measures'. and he grew from there. obviously anyone who's determined against jesus will think this is complete nonsense,they'll tend act as though they are god themselves, and , should they succeed in setting themselves up as a god, go to hell. For example, someone who says ' yes, I started a war, and 100's of thousands of innocent civilians died and I have absolutely no regrets' then the 'absolutely no regrets' part means he's well on the way to hell; and that's even before you start to discus the merits of the war
