As Eubulides was living in 4 BC its obvious that whoever recorded 'I am lying' forgot to finish the sentence what Eubulides actually said was "I am lying down" as he had just come in from an Ancient Grecian Taverna "The Bunch of Grapes" and was clearly pissed. I know because I was there.
