Just finished reading it, Excellent...
If the cover hadn't mentioned Pratchett, I would not once have compared Gaiman to him, He is DNA reincarnated.... (also in his dearth of books...)
Richard IS Arthur,
Door (in a very weird way) is both Ford and Trillian
The Marquis can only be Zaphod
Obviously Croup and Vandemar are the Vogons (), or possibly the Golgafrinchans...
Islington has to be Slartibartfast (well initially, well maybe not, but kind of....)
And the Rats are just big mice....
