Don'T forget the best sossidge skin if the gut of a sheep or pig.
All the butcher needs to do is squeeze the shit out at one end and the meaty stuff in at the other.
Pig skin (preferably freshly shaved) makes great porky scratchings.

Mmmm, your'e making my mouth water.

Pork scratchings (honest-to-god roasted, salty pig skin; not the ersatz stuff, made in flying saucers) and real sausages - food that any Human in the family tree should relish - is being lobbied out of existence by suburban bodysnatchers in spandex cycle suits.

Canada is in desperate - desperate I tells ya - need of missionaries in Pork Farms butchers aprons. There is not a decent scratching to be had in the place.

I am sure we could club together and send out a couple of packets with a long shelf life. It is in a good cause.

Just send me your address and I will post some.

What does Canada offer (legally) that will fit in a jiffy-bag?

Oh good - international Swap Shop. (You have heard of Swap-Shop?)

Thanks. That's very generous of you. I think it would drive the customs sniffer dogs mad though.

I'm familiar with the concept of swapping. I surmise that Swap Shop is a venue (on-line?) for swapping. But, I have to admit, I don't know anything about it.

Legal, distinctive, and fits in a jiffy bag? Mmm... I'll have to give that some thought. Dulce is dried kelp, eaten with relish by the folks on the east coast (sort of a maritme scratchings, I suppose)... but not in central Canada, unfortunately (we're rather a boring lot).

Er.. dried kelp.. never mind smiley - winkeye

Swap Shop was a TV program (in the 70's I think) where kids swapped toys they no longer wanted with toys that were also no longer wanted.

Now we have car boot sales (garage sales)
