You are right.
I've been im Englischen Garten several times with my dog and always learned to know new people very easily.
Good place for an h2g2 meeting maybe?

yeah. there´s a place in the middle of the garden where a big tree stands alone just next to the icy river. Hippies use to meet there, arriving fully dressed, then throw their pants and shirts away and sit the hole day through and play harp and flute. they are really wierd. let´s have a h2g2 meeting there and discuss with the hippie-population

The Chinese Tower beergarden is great. You can sit there, have food and beer and listen to band playing traditional music. Very civilised. smiley - cheers
