Bob Geldof has arranged the Live8 concerts for next month. Geldof has said this is not Live Aid II, and is not for raising funds but awareness.
It coincides with the G8 meeting, and hopes to make the meeting world leaders increase their donations and help with aid in starving nations.
There are a number of concerts simultaneously on the 2nd of July, at the same time there is a big march in Edinburgh to try and raise aid to starving nations.
Hopefully, this will help beat starvation, aids and povery all over the world.
To help, you can buy or make a white band and wear, attend one of the events, or write e-mails and letters to world leaders and finance secretaries.
Lets make poverty history,
