h2g2 The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy: Earth Edition

I'm not exactly sure how Shanks and Cowboys became recommended bars
in Calgary. FYI - The best pub and bars in the city are found in 3
places - Kensington, where you can't swing a cat without hitting an
Irish pub - 17th ave SW, where the party never stops (and, unfortunatly neither does the traffic) - and 1st St, SW, where everything run vertically, except for the people, who tend to operate in a more horizontal direction. Stick to these parts of town and you'll alway have a good time, whether you want to or not.
