There may be something about the diagrams that I don't understand, but all of them make sense to me except 'G'.
G looks like the knot was reduced to two separate loops, with a pear shape loop lying atop the bottom of a shoe shaped loop.
Could you clarify 'G' for me?

You're right. That's a perfect description of G.

I was caught up in the transformation concept. It's obvious that F and G were not transfored versions of A.
