Come off it, tolerate it maybe, refrain from saying music isn't what it used to be, definitely, but like it???
That would have condemed me to spending my offsprings' teenage years listening to The Thompson Twins, Barry Manilow, and LL Cool J. Far better to buy them their own stereos & site them in their bedrooms.

Yeah... I think it's pretty much hopeless. I mean, in all the time I listen to music, I think my dad has *once* referred to it as something besides 'noise'. I really don't get it either, seeing as I listen to *real* music. At least, I think I do.

It's all part of the fun of being a parent. It was quite funny when Gareth at six years old saw my SWH play lice for the first time. He couldn't get his head behind wrinklies playing rock music. One thing that reeeally tees me off is when I buy a new CD & the spotty yob behind the counter asks me condescendingly if it's for my son!!!!
