Apart from being Catholic schools, was there any connection between The Oratory School Berkshire and the school my late Father and his Brother attended which was known as the London Oratory???

Actually, the Brompton Oratory is a church institution, a church and attached presbytery of several priests. The London Oratory School, or Little Oratory, was also set up by Cardinal Newman at around the same time. The Oratory School used to be near Birmingham and referred to as the Birmingham Oratory School. All very complicated, but in short, the answer to the London Oratory question is "yes".
