Riverside Cottage

One of the more superior properties in the Village de la Vavoom is Riverside Cottage. Visitors to the Village will see from the map that it is situated near the River, quite close to the Pub and the Village Hall. Other local residents nearby include Mari-Rae at Someday Cottage, Kasia at Rainbow Cottage and Gwennie at The Rank.

Riverside Cottage is the home of Lady C. None of the villagers are quite sure why a lady of her standing should want to live in the village. There are rumours that she was once extremely wealthy, but nobody knows quite what happened to her fortune.

Her thatched cottage is one of the larger properties. Both inside and out it hints at a wonderfully elegant lifestyle of glamour and allure. The furniture is genuine 1930's Art Deco, but the pieces seem a little large for a cottage. The immaculate gardens are appreciated by all who pass by. A large orange cat is usually asleep in the sun somewhere.

All Lady C's odd jobs are carried out by her personal handiman Amos Featherly. He lives at the bottom of the garden in small thatched 2 storey shed overlooking the river. He can make himself available to any village resident with an odd job.

You might find Lady C at The Tea Shoppe. If she's at home please stop by and say hello, but remember to wipe your feet.
