A Conversation for Secrets of Longevity

Immortality

I can think of a couple of things that someone may consider useful in their search for a longer lifespan...

Firstly, try to understand what it is that you actually fear about death. Think clearly and deeply about what you believe it to be. Then consider the alternatives. This could well provide you with a reasonable starting point to figure out the rest.

Of course fear is absolutely necessary for our spirit to flourish. It is also useful in keeping popcorn from our mouths during 'Spice Girls: The Movie'. However, there is an ocean that separates between; a) A fear that has been recognised and accepted/resolved
b) A fear that remains unnoticed.

If this dosen't sound like you then maybe this will help. Do everything in your power to convince your family, your friends or acquaintances that in order to live longer, the daily cycle will now be altered from 24 hours to 12 hours. Once this has settled into your community then you could progressively initiate other changes to extend that healthy glow. For instance, cut all time increments in half and watch immortality become something more than just a Christopher Lambert inspired fantasy.

I am aware that this is a simplistic overview of a something yet undefined. The above is nothing more than my opinion.

(p.s : I forgot to mention the importance of a nutritionally balanced diet)

Another thought on immortality: When someone well-loved dies, that person lives forever in memory, going on for generations as long as someone can show you a picture and say "That was your great, great, great (whoever)", or can tell a story passed down generation to generation about a long-gone family member. The thrill of my son's life was receiving something that belonged to his great-great- grandfather, then hearing passed down stories about him. Grandpa Charlie still lives on in all our memories.

molotov

i personally enjoy beating myself into a coma once a fortnight and have myself woken up on my pay day. i then go on a spending spree and get as infinitely drunk as possible. i then wake up the next day and beat myself into a coma again, until the following fortnight. this way, i always have money, and i expect i will live longer too. hooray. oops, nearly time again....
