A Conversation for The five pillars of Islam: Salaat - Prayer
rewards of prayer

I think I can understand the idea of prayer as a spiritual and physical activity but I don't understand what it means for there to be "more reward in praying in Mosques" than elsewhere.
Can anyone explain the notion of reward?

Hi, sorry I did not make that clear in the entry.
It means reward on two levels. Firstly reward in the next life by God. An secondly the reward is that praying at mosques is in a big group and the feeling of praying in congregation is great, it raises ones level of faith and also makes one aware that they are not alone. Other benefits of going to mosque is that you get to meet new people and socialise a little, make new friends etc.
