Isn't Dave Gilmour now playing and touring with Paul McCartney? I thought I saw them together on Later With Jules a while ago.

Yup. DNA was there and he put some pictures from the show up on some forum here. He and David Gilmour apparently are friends.
As to Pink Floyd, they've quit. I believe they reunited for one evening some two years ago, playing at a friends birthdayparty. (DNA:s perhaps?)

The DNA birthday party (which, by the way, DNA played guitart at with the band), was back in '94 during the last tour
